From Storyleak:
"What is most disturbing about this very sordid and ongoing saga is
the persistent refusal of the US Government to issue any kind of apology
for these atrocities. Because of the CIA’s routine lack of
acknowledgment of these massacres, even the citizenry of the USA seems
to be oblivious to such heinous crimes being committed in their name.
They seem to occur and then are very quickly forgotten just like
passing days of the week. Clearly, this is the most serious byproduct
of these barbaric assaults in foreign lands. That the people have come
to accept them as business as usual.
"Only because these frequent fatal attacks are not being conducted in
Western nations are they somehow justifiable. They have no legitimacy
in international law, common law, natural law or federal law. Simply
put, the drone assassination program operates completely outside of the
framework of every body of law in existence, including military law."

Western Media Ignores 'Largest Massacre of Christians in Syria'
One of the worst Christian massacres of the modern era—complete with mass graves,
tortured-to-death women and children, and destroyed churches—recently
took place in Syria, at the hands of the U.S.-supported jihadi “rebels," while the U.S. government and its “mainstream media” mouthpiece are, as
usual, silent (that is, when not actively trying to minimize matters). The massacre took place in Sadad, an ancient Syriac Orthodox Christian
habitation, so old as to be mentioned in the Old Testament.
Sadat’s 14 churches, some ancient, were ransacked and destroyed; the bodies of six people from one family, ranging from ages 16 to 90, were found at the bottom of a well (an increasingly common fate for “subhuman” Christians).
The jihadis even made a graphic video (with English subtitles) of those whom they massacred, while shouting Islam’s victory-cry, “Allahu Akbar," which arch neo-conservative John McCain equates to a Christian saying, “Thank God." Another video, made after Sadad was liberated, shows more graphic atrocities.
Please pray for the Christians and all people in Syria and share this report.

Elian Gonzalez: From Cute Kid to "Cuban Revolutionary" Propagandist
Elian Gonzalez is back in the headlines this
week after leaving Cuba for the first time since being handed over to
Castro. Elian traveled to Ecuador for the 23rd World Festival of Youth
and Students, where he had some harsh words for the US in an interview with CNN en Espanol. According to the young revolutionary, it's the US's fault that his mother tried to leave and died. Without the economic turmoil caused by the embargo, no one would want to leave Cuba. Also, he proudly claimed not to have a religion, but that if he did, his god would be Fidel Castro! Read it here.
By the way, it turns out that the Elian Gonzalez affair is where a young Eric Holder earned his spurs: as the then Deputy Attorney General, he authorized the government raid that took the child into custody at gunpoint, without feeling the need to get one of those pesky court order things. Read it here.

The Daily Show: Stuart Varney vs. Pope Francis
Jon Stewart provided a clinic in economics and morality for Fox News’ Stuart Varney. Last month Pope Francis excoriated unfettered capitalism and trickle-down economics.
He called it the ‘New Tyranny’. It is obvious that would put many on
the Right into an utter state of hysteria. Rush Limbaugh went into a state of hyperventilation.
Fox News did not know what to do. Last week they were all
about the President abrogating church rights. What about now?
Turns out Jon Stewart wondered if he could get an argument against the minimum wage. Of course he turned to Fox News Stuart Varney. Varney did not disappoint. Varney asked Juan Williams for an economic argument for the minimum wage increase not based on need to feed a family or emotion. Really?
That baffled Jon Stewart. “That is the type of statement that is usually followed by the dead business partner and the ghost of Christmas past, present, and future. Alright. Alright. We have heard the argument that you need it to feed your family. Fine, I’ve got that. Let’s hear the argument treating it as if you are not human,” he said.
Stuart Varney then asks Juan Williams to make a moral judgment as to whether someone without a diploma or right out of school deserves $15.00 an hour. Of course Varney never asks one to makes a moral judgment as to whether a plutocrat should be making millions while drinking tea at his pool. He never asks one to make the moral judgment of a CEO making over 300 times his workers’ wages for doing little. He does not ask one to make a moral judgment of a system that rewards capital more so than human beings.

Church Group Targeted for Feeding the Homeless
Apparently the government's new policy on unemployment, poverty, and
homelessness is to keep it out of sight and out of mind. From StoryLeak:
A street ministry in Olympia, Washington focused on feeding the homeless is currently fighting attempts to have their work criminalized by the city.
Ben Charles, founder of Crazy Faith Ministries, has fed the area’s homeless population every Thursday and Saturday from the same parking lot for the last two years, handing out as many as 5,000 meals per month.
Although the group has had a long and highly supported presence in the area, complaints began arising regarding issues such as vehicle traffic being blocked from the growing number of hungry people coming to be fed. In October, Charles received notice from the Olympia Police Department that his group would no longer be allowed to use the lot, although they were unable to cite any law broken.

Those Vaccinated with the Pertussis Vaccine Are Spreading the Disease
By Toni Bark, M.D.:
The recent news articles to hit the mainstream media in the past week finally state what public health officials and epidemiologists have known for some time: those vaccinated against pertussis are carrying and spreading the bacteria and are responsible for most of the outbreaks.
And, if you look up scholarly articles about previous outbreaks of measles, you'll find academic papers on an entity termed "the paradox of measles"; a paradox because those vaccinated are the ones contracting the disease whilst the unvaccinated in many communities with outbreaks, are unscathed.
In addition, the rise in shingles over the past decade or so, is due to the chicken pox vaccine. This link is not denied in academic literature and was even predicted by mathematical biologists and epidemiologists, and was confirmed by another study funded by the CDC.
If vaccinated children and adults are capable of spreading disease, shall we hold them and their parents legally liable for outbreaks?

The Antidote for Black Friday (and now Thursday evening, too)
Pope Francis has ramped up the Vatican’s charity work, sending his
chief alms-giver and a contingent of Swiss guards onto the streets of
Rome at night to do what he usually can’t do: comfort the poor and the
homeless.
A few times a week, Archbishop Konrad Krajewski takes a few off-duty guards with him in his modest white Fiat to make the rounds at Rome’s train stations, where charities offer makeshift soup kitchens that feed 400-500 people a night. Often they bring the leftovers from the Vatican mess halls to share.

Global Hunger: Gone in Our Lifetime?
From MercatorNet:
The head of the UN Food and Agriculture Agency, Jose Graziano da Silva, makes that assertion. According to Graziano, the scourge of hunger in Africa could be gone by 2025. Proposing three solutions in this article, Graziano remarks that the key to eradication of world hunger is small family-owned farms and the cultivation of the super-food quinoa. As Graziano himself puts it, "You don't need to buy seed from Monsanto."

The Miracle of Father Kapaun: Priest, Soldier, and Korean War Hero
The Miracle of Father Kapaun
Priest, Soldier, and Korean War Hero
by Roy Wenzl and Travis Heying
Emil Kapaun—priest, soldier and Korean War
hero—is a rare man. He is being awarded the Medal of Honor, the
nation's highest military award, and is also being considered by the
Vatican for canonization as a saint.Priest, Soldier, and Korean War Hero
by Roy Wenzl and Travis Heying
As remarkable as this double honor are the non-Catholic witnesses who attest to Father Kapaun's heroism: the Protestants, Jews and Muslims who either served with the military chaplain in the thick of battle or endured with him the unbelievably brutal conditions of a prisoner of war camp. As journalists Roy Wenzl and Travis Heying discovered, all of these Korean War veterans, no matter their religion, agree that Father Kapaun did more to save lives and maintain morale than any other man they know.

"Chris Beat Cancer" Interviews Dr. Patrick Vickers of Gerson Center
Here’s a terrific new video I did with Dr. Patrick Vickers of Northern Baja Gerson Center. He and I met at the Hungry 4 Health Gala and Organic Festival in Branson, MO in April and after hearing him speak about Gerson I couldn’t wait to interview him.
In our interview he tells the amazing story of medical genius Dr. Max Gerson and explains how the Gerson Cancer Therapy came into existence.
Dr. Gerson was a pioneer of nutritional cancer therapy and even though many do not know his name, his impact on the world is monumental. Countless thousands have healed using the principles of the Gerson Cancer Therapy, including me!

Historical Data: Vaccines Didn't Save Us From Anything
Do vaccines actually protect against the viruses and illnesses that
they claim to? If you only get your news and information from mainstream
news and educational sources, then the question about whether vaccines
are effective is never even raised. However, if you look at the
historical data on vaccination efficacy, you'll see that they are not
responsible for the decline in disease in the last hundred years at all:
- In 1977, Dr. Jonas Salk, who developed the first polio vaccine, testified along with other scientists that mass inoculation against polio was the cause of most polio cases throughout the USA since 1961. (Science 4/4/77 "Abstracts")
- In Oman between 1988 and 1989, a polio outbreak occurred amongst thousands of
fully vaccinated children. The region with the highest infection rate had the highest vaccine coverage. The region with the lowest infection rate had the lowest vaccine coverage. (The Lancet, 21/9/91)
- In 1990, the Journal of the American Medical Association had an article on measles which stated, "Although more than 95% of school-aged children in the US are vaccinated against measles, large measles outbreaks continue to occur in schools and most cases in this setting occur among previously vaccinated children." (JAMA, 21/11/90)
- In the New England Journal of Medicine July 1994 issue, a study found that over 80% of children under 5 years of age who had contracted whooping cough had been fully vaccinated.
- In 1979, Sweden abandoned the whooping cough vaccine due to its ineffectiveness. Out of 5,140 cases in 1978, it was found that 84% had been vaccinated three times! (BMJ 283:696-697, 1981)

10 Year Old Amish Girl Flees US to Escape Forced Chemo, Recovers Naturally
I've mentioned before the incident--being told that I would be arrested if I refused permission for UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, to continue chemotherapy for my then 14 year-old daughter, that she would be placed in foster care and given chemo anyway-- that led, among other things, to my starting this blog. I've since learned of many similar episodes, including this one now:

and

For the record, my daughter is now 18 and healthy. We used the Gerson Diet and various alternative natural supplements.

Letter Objecting to Common Core State Standards
This letter was sent individually to each Catholic bishop in the United States. 132 Catholic professors signed the letter. It is the most wonderfully written letter I have seen on this topic. Here is an excerpt regarding the CCSS's new emphasis on "informational texts" including government documents and regulations and away from classical, narrative fiction:
Professor Stotsky was the chief architect of the universally-praised Massachusetts English language arts standards, which contributed greatly to that state's educational success. She describes Common Core as an incubator of "empty skill sets...[that] weaken the basis of literary and cultural knowledge needed for authentic college course work." Rather than explore the creativity of man, the great lessons of life, love, tragedy, good and evil, the rich textures of history that underlie great works of fiction, and the tales of self-sacrifice and mercy in the works of the great writers that have shaped our cultural history over the centuries, Common Core reduces reading to a servile activity.
You may read this brilliant letter and see the signatory list here.

Halloween? Stock Up On UNREAL Candy
IT TOOK A QUESTION FROM A 13 YEAR OLD
The morning after a night of trick-or-treating, Nicky woke up to find that his dad had confiscated most of candy. Angry, Nicky set out to do some research and prove to his dad that candy isn’t so bad for you. Nicky knew, of course, that candy wasn’t good for you, but he didn’t know just how bad most candy is. Nicky learned that the worst parts of candy, stuff like partially hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, chemical preservatives and loads of sugar (“the junk”) aren’t there to make it taste better. They’re there to make candy cheaper to produce and last longer on shelves.

Cancer Now the Leading Cause of Childhood Death in the U.S.
Via Robyn O'Brien at "Inspired Bites":
Cancer is now the leading cause of death for U.S. children, according to a recent report from the American Cancer Institute. It hasn’t made a lot of headlines, maybe it got lost in the news about government shutdowns, but according to ABC News:
I have always had to qualify pediatric cancer, saying that cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in American children, because up until now, accidents took more children’s lives in the United States.
Not anymore. Cancer is now claiming more lives. And while our kids may only represent 30% of the population, they are 100% of our future.

GMO Labeling: Your 'Right to Know' Is Not a Courtesy, It's Because GMOs Are Demonstrably Dangerous
As Jon Rapport points out at No More Fake News, the "niceness" factor is what doomed Prop 37 here in California and could endanger Prop 522 in Washington state.
“We believe that we have a right to know what’s in our food,” said Elizabeth Larter, the Seattle-based communications director for the Yes on 522 campaign. “This campaign is not about whether GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are good or bad; this is really just providing more information for consumers.”
Really. This is just about “providing more information.”
Good and bad are irrelevant.
If so, then why should consumers care whether the food they buy and eat is labeled?

A Global Slaughter of Christians, But American Churches Stay Silent
From The Daily Beast:
Christians in the Middle East and Africa are being slaughtered, tortured, raped, kidnapped, beheaded, and forced to flee the birthplace of Christianity. One would think this horror might be consuming the pulpits and pews of American churches. Not so. The silence has been nearly deafening.
As Egypt’s Copts have battled the worst attacks on the Christian minority since the 14th century, the bad news for Christians in the region keeps coming. On Sunday, Taliban suicide bombers killed at least 85 worshipers at All Saints’ church, which has stood since 1883 in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan. Christians were also the target of Islamic fanatics in the attack on a shopping center in Nairobi, Kenya, this week that killed more than 70 people. The Associated Press reported that the Somali Islamic militant group al-Shabab “confirmed witness accounts that gunmen separated Muslims from other people and let the Muslims go free.” The captives were asked questions about Islam. If they couldn’t answer, they were shot.

Victory: Senate to Kill Monsanto Protection Act
In a major victory brought about by serious activism and public
outrage, new legislation changes will shut down the Monsanto Protection
Act rider that granted Monsanto protection from legal action and was set
to renew on September 30th.
This unprecedented move shows the true power of the anti-GMO, anti-Monsanto movement, and how elected officials are now being forced to side with the concerned population over the money-spewing Monsanto.

Despite every indication that Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis was on SSRI drugs that have been linked to dozens of previous mass shootings, the mainstream media has once again avoided all discussion of the issue, preferring instead to blame the tragedy on a non-existent AR-15 that the gunman didn’t even own or use.
We now know that Alexis “had been treated since August by the Veterans Administration for his mental problems.”
As Mike Adams points out, “This is proof that Aaron Alexis was on psychiatric drugs, because that’s the only treatment currently being offered by the Veterans Administration for mental problems. Alexis’ family members also confirmed to the press that he was being “treated” for his mental health problems. Across the medical industry, “treatment” is the code word for psychiatric drugging.”
Alexis also suffered from PTSD, blackouts and anger issues – all of which are treated with SSRI drugs. The most common form of treatment for PTSD is Paroxetine, which is listed as the number 3 top violence-causing drug by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP).

Chipotle Takes a Stand Against GMOs and the FDA
Via Robyn O'Brien at Inspired Bites:
Chipotle has made some headlines lately. Most recently, the company announced that it would label the genetically engineered ingredients in its beans, burritos and other food...
But information that actually tells you what you are eating, like “May contain genetically engineered ingredients”? Not so much. You’d have to move to another country, actually any one of 64 other countries around the world, for that right. We don’t have that right here. The United States government, the FDA to be exact, does not think that Americans should have the same right to know whether or not we are eating these genetically engineered ingredients, introduced into our food supply in the last 15 years by chemicals companies. In other words, it’s just not important enough...
Take a look at the story they have to tell in this new video. As you can imagine, they’ve taken some heat for it. Anyone standing on the front lines does.
Share it with your kids. It’s only a few minutes long and will add to the toolbox of resources becoming available to Americans as we learn more about our food system.

Four Questions for Anyone Still Supporting a Strike Against Syria
Actually, there are more than four excellent questions in this article and two amazing videos of a top Pentagon insider revealing that the Syrian attack has long been planned. Complete with sources; read it here and please share.
"Ask anyone still thinking of supporting an attack on Syria to explain why the U.S. started supporting the Syrian opposition years before any uprising had occurred there.
"And ask them to explain why 4-Star General Wesley Clark was told – right after 9/11 – that Pentagon officials planned to attack 7 countries in 5 years … including Iraq, Libya and Syria.
"There are many other good questions as well, such as:
- Why would we attack when bombing Syria will only strengthen the hardliners … and harm America’s national security?
- Why attack when the top U.S. military commander says that an attack would be both risky and expensive, and he can’t even say why we’d go to war with Syria?
- Why attack when everyone from troops and military officers to Pentagon war planners all oppose an attack on Syria ?
- Why attack when Congress members who have seen the classified intelligence aren’t even convinced that the Syrian government used chemical weapons?
- Why attack when the U.S. and Britain have used chemical weapons in the last 10 years … and the U.S. supported the largest chemical weapons attack in history?

"Globesity"--US Junk Food Industry Tips Global Scales
From RT News:
From Mexico to Qatar, obesity rates are soaring to unprecedented levels. The alarming trend is damaging economic performance, as well as the health of millions of consumers worldwide...
Thanks to NAFTA, there was a more than 1,200 percent increase in high-fructose corn syrup exports from the US to Mexico between 1996 and 2012, according to the US Agriculture Department. In an effort to place a cap on the high-calorie drinks, Mexican officials introduced a tax on beverages containing high-fructose corn syrup. American corn refiners, however, cried foul and the tax was voted down by the World Trade Organization...
Yet another disturbing casualty on the obesity trail is tiny Qatar, an oil-rich Arab nation of 250,000 people that is also rich in fast food diets. Today, some 45 percent of Qatari adults are obese and up to 40 percent of school children are obese as well...
"As fast as we get rid of all our traditional vectors of disease - infections, little microbes, bugs - we are replacing them with the new vectors of disease, which are massive transnational, national, multinational corporations selling vast amounts of salt, fat and sugar,"--Bruce Neal, professor at the George Institute for Global Health in Sydney, told the Indo-Asian News Service.

The Permanent Structure of the U.S. Government is Geared for War
From Jon Rappoport at No More Fake News:
This article is about the psychology of big government: criminal psychology.
Face it. Deal with it. The US government, in its present form, is all about going to war. That is what it knows how to do.
I’m not just talking about the Pentagon. The FDA is happiest when it’s trying to attack nutritional supplements and alternative doctors. The EPA is roving the country looking for businesses to punish. The National Institutes of Health is fighting the eternal fraudulent “war on cancer.”
Curiously, though, these wars are fought but not won through any sort of authentic resolution. Several examples spring to mind. The wars on poverty, cancer, and drugs. In these areas, things have only gotten worse. And then there was a little engagement called Vietnam. How did that turn out? Nevertheless, the government presses on...
Given the psychology of big government, going into Syria is a natural. It’s a war looking for an excuse. Any excuse, real or imagined, or staged.

By Reading These Posts, You Are Making a Difference!!!
A globalist insider admits the alternative media is having an impact on NWO tactics! From Story Leak:
During a short interview with Germany’s DW News last Monday, former US National Security Adviser and Trilateral Commission co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski commented on the growing inefficiency of war due to the increased political knowledge of the public.
“Given the contemporary reality of what I have called in my writings ‘Global Political Awakening,’ a policy of force based primarily on Western and in some cases former colonial powers does not seem to me a very promising avenue to an eventual solution to the regional problem,” said Brzezinski, referring to the situation in Syria.

The World According to the Global Power Brokers
As German playwright Johann W. Goethe once remarked, “Coming
events cast their shadows forwards”.
When the World Economic Forum released its 2013 Global Risks Report earlier this year, it included an interesting array of proposals which should raise eyebrows and be taken very seriously.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) used risk management exercises to address many of the challenges that we all know about – growing social and political violence, the West’s on-going financial collapse, food and water shortages, and the Elite’s all-time favorite “global terrorism”.
This article by Adrian Sarbuchi in RT clearly explains why we can continue to expect endless war. Read it here.

Obama Launching Syrian War Over ADMITTEDLY Staged Chemical Attacks
From Anthony Gucciardi at Story Leak:
The Obama administration is on a war path with Syria following the admittedly staged chemical attacks that even mainstream news initially documented was an attempt to launch war with Assad — an admission that no one is talking about as naval cruisers sail to Syria.
In an inside glimpse of how truly controlled the media really is, there is now literally zero mention of the admitted plan to launch a chemical attack within Syria via the Syrian rebels and blame it on Assad. Now sure, that’s amazing enough that no one is talking about this, but what’s more disturbing is that the plan itself was broadcast on the largest website in the United States: Yahoo News.

The Case for Good Taste in Children's Books
From the Imprimus newsletter of Hillsdale College:
Meghan Cox Gurdon, the Children's Book Reviewer for The Wall Street Journal writes:
ON JUNE 4, 2011, the number one trending topic on Twitter was the Anthony Weiner scandal. I happen to remember that, because the number two topic on Twitter that day—almost as frenzied, though a lot less humorous—had to do with an outrageous, intolerable attack on Young Adult literature . . . by me. Entitled “Darkness Too Visible,” my article discussed the increasingly dark current that runs through books classified as YA, for Young Adult—books aimed at readers between 12 and 18 years of age—a subset that has, in the four decades since Young Adult became a distinct category in fiction, become increasingly lurid, grotesque, profane, sexual, and ugly.
Books show us the world, and in that sense, too many books for adolescents act like funhouse mirrors, reflecting hideously distorted portrayals of life. Those of us who have grown up understand that the teen years can be fraught and turbulent—and for some kids, very unhappy—but at the same time we know that in the arc of human life, these years are brief. Today, too many novels for teenagers are long on the turbulence and short on a sense of perspective...
“Beauty is vanishing from our world because we live as if it does not matter.” That’s Roger Scruton again. But he doesn’t want us to despair. He also writes:

It is one mark of rational beings that they do not live only—or even
at all—in the present. They have the freedom to despise the world that
surrounds them and live another way. The art, literature, and music of
our civilization remind them of this, and also point to the path that
lies always before them: the path out of desecration towards the sacred
and the sacrificial.
