Idiocracy 2012

   Natural News founder Mike Adams posted an article that would be hysterical if it weren't so close to the truth. In "You Just Witnessed the Idiocracy Election of 2012," he notes that democracy is failing " because the very idea of democracy depends entirely on voters being informed, educated, rational and intelligent."  As he notes, whether they voted for Obama or Romney, most people are not able to articulate any reasons why they voted for them or they give reasons simply not based in reality.  Who can reason about the Constitution any more when most citizens can barely read?  Are zombies real?  More than four million people in California just voted that they do NOT want to know what they or their children are eating.  As I know all too well, we don't teach logic, or much of anything else, in public schools anymore--and this "dumbing down" is by design!
