New Abp of Canterbury: FAIL
The new Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who will be enthroned next month, has already failed in his primary duty. In one of his first official acts as the new ABC, Welby has appointed Canon David Porter, who is said to be widely experienced in peace building, group facilitation, and training, to a newly created position as "Director of Reconciliation." Welby faces a communion divided between the small but wealthy revisionist Anglican churches in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., and the orthodox Global South Primates whose churches comprise more than 80% of the Anglican Communion's constituent members.
The ABC is already trying to ignore the fact that two different religions exist under the name "Anglican." By hiring a corporate consultant to build reconciliation, Welby acknowledges that he does not embrace any notion of Christian truth and that he will treat foundational differences in worldviews as mere political problems. Obviously, Welby plans to use his new office to function as a secular corporate CEO rather than a defender of the faith.
Therefore, he has already abdicated his duties as a Christian bishop, chief of which is to guard against false teaching. The very title "Director of Reconciliation" tells us that Welby sees the crisis facing the Anglican Church as a human resources issue, needing only business management techniques to solve it.
As David Virtue reports, "Until the issue of false teaching is addressed, as identified by the Jerusalem Statement and the Declaration of 2008, there is no theological way to heal the tear in the fabric of the Communion. There must be a willingness to repent of false teaching and reconciliation strategies which avoid this question earn the scathing rebuke of Jeremiah, "they treated my people's wound superficially, telling them, 'Peace, peace,' but there is no peace'." (Jeremiah 6:4).

New Diagnosis for Troops: "Moral Injury" May Rival PTSD
With American troops at war for more than a decade, there’s been an
unprecedented number of studies into war zone psychology and an evolving
understanding of post-traumatic stress disorder. Clinicians suspect
some troops are suffering from what they call “moral injuries” — wounds
from having done something, or failed to stop something, that violates
their moral code.
Though there may be some overlap in symptoms, moral injuries aren’t what most people think of as PTSD, the nightmares and flashbacks of terrifying, life-threatening combat events. A moral injury tortures the conscience; symptoms include deep shame, guilt and rage. It’s not a medical problem, and it’s unclear how to treat it, says retired Col. Elspeth Ritchie, former psychiatry consultant to the Army surgeon general.
“The concept ... is more an existentialist one,” she says.

China Admits Existence of "Cancer Villages"
The Chinese government is now openly admitting that severe exposure to
chemicals via water pollution, air pollution and environmental pollution
is causing the rise of "cancer villages" across China. China can no longer deny the truth that its nation, and its people, are
being destroyed by toxic pollution. To appreciate the magnitude of this
admission, you have to understand that China's government is steeped in
the practice of denial. All communist regimes are, of course, delusional at every level, but China
has taken denial to a whole new depth of mastery with its longstanding
insistence that environmental problems didn't really exist. If a Chinese
local saw a wave of bright green sludge pouring down a local river and
they complained to the government, they were simply told it was caused
by "overpopulation," not by a factory dumping chemical sludge into the
river.
This is how "cancer villages"
appear, of course: People living in China eat the food grown in China.
They breathe the air. They drink the water. And then they start mutating
at the genetic level. This results in cancer, birth defects and untold
human suffering.
And yes, the USDA licenses organic certifiers to operate in China and sell in the U.S., and its 'organic' standards completely lack any limits on the pollution of irrigation water sprayed on crops. They do not limit how close your crops can be to a chemical plant, nor do they limit the level of heavy metals contamination in the final product. Always check the country of origin of your food--make sure it's not from China! Source.

India's Rice Revolution: Record Harvests with No GM or Herbicides!
In
a village in India's poorest state, Bihar, farmers are growing world
record amounts of rice – with no GM seeds and no herbicide. Poverty and access to food are major factors in world hunger, so the Bihar farmers may have developed an amazing solution!
According to GMWatch and "The Guardian," Sumant Kumar, for example, a shy young farmer in Nalanda district of India's poorest state Bihar, had – using only farmyard manure and without any herbicides – grown an astonishing 22.4 tonnes of rice on one hectare of land. This was a world record and with rice the staple food of more than half the world's population of seven billion, big news.
"Farmers use less seeds, less water and less chemicals but they get more without having to invest more. This is revolutionary," said Dr Surendra Chaurassa from Bihar's agriculture ministry. "I did not believe it to start with, but now I think it can potentially change the way everyone farms. I would want every state to promote it. If we get 30-40% increase in yields, that is more than enough to recommend it."

"House of Cards" on Netflix: A Study of Evil
Netflix has expanded into movie production with its new political thriller, "House of Cards," a combination TV series and movie, similar to a BBC miniseries. However, the entire first season was released February 1st on Netflix's streaming service. "House of Cards" is already such a hit that Netflix has a second season of 13 episodes in production.
In my estimation, the most fascinating facet of the series is that it's rather like "Ferris Bueller" meets The Screwtape Letters. The main protagonist is Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), a Democratic Congressman from South Carolina who is the House majority whip. Much like in the 1980s comedy movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," he is a master manipulator and speaks directly to the viewing audience. Unlike the harmless and likeable Bueller, however, Underwood is out to exact a terrible vengeance on those who promised that he'd be the next Secretary of State and then betrayed him. His asides to the camera put us in a role similar to Screwtape's nephew Wormwood in C.S. Lewis's novel The Screwtape Letters. Underwood's observations, wildly comic yet deadly serious, transcend any political philosophy. This story is about fallen humanity generally and Washington politicians specifically. Their only goal is to move up the power pyramid, yet even Underwood is continually amazed at how easily his colleagues are ensnared by what he considers the most boring vices--money, sex, drink/drugs, etc.
Robin Wright plays Claire Underwood, Frank's chiseled, dominating, and ruthless wife. As Frank and Claire coldly plot together each night, it's easy to imagine them as recently incarnate demons, who continually marvel at how humans can be so oblivious to the presence of evil among them.
That's probably the same attitude the real demons often have towards us.

Overpopulation is a Myth
Is the world 'overpopulated?' The facts indicate otherwise. One could even make a case that global elitists may have a selective, selfish agenda when they preach the need for world population control. The world's problems won't be solved by eliminating people; population reduction leaves the same problems (at minimum) with fewer people to help solve them.
See this video and follow the links below; see especially the media hypocrisy that ensued with the birth of David and Victoria Beckham's fourth child, which includes a list of global population control elitists and the number of children they have:

Nothing is Real: LAPD Mistakes Latinas for Dorner
Early Thursday morning, Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, drove slowly down a quiet residential street delivering copies of the Los Angeles Times. Unknown to the two women, a high-ranking LAPD official resided on the street. As their vehicle approached the house, at least seven officers opened fire from behind, unloading a barrage of bullets into the back of the truck. On Friday, the street was
pockmarked with bullet holes in cars, trees, garage doors and roofs.
The attorney representing the women said the police officers gave "no commands, no instructions and no opportunity to surrender" before opening fire. Incredibly, both women survived, Hernandez with two gunshot wounds in her back and Carranza with multiple cuts from broken glass.
Residents said they wanted to know what happened.
"How do you mistake two Hispanic women, one who is 71, for a large black male?" said Richard Goo, 62, who counted five bullet holes in the entryway to his house. Goo said he could hear the bullets hitting the front door and feared they were coming through the house. He said he called 911 for the police, but was notified that the police were already there.
Additionally, Carranza was driving a blue Toyota Tacoma while Dorner at that time still drove a gray Nissan Titan. It apparently didn't occur to the boys in blue in their panicked state that there might be more than one pick up truck on the residential streets of greater Los Angeles.
Buffoonery? Unbridled police lawlessness? Or a perfect storm of both?
More details in mistaken shooting of Latinas.
Sorry for shooting you--here's a new truck!

Bhutan Set to Be First Wholly Organic Country
Bhutan plans to become the first country in the world to turn its agriculture
completely organic, banning the sales of pesticides and herbicides and
relying on its own animals and farm waste for fertilizers.
But rather than accept that this will mean farmers of the small Himalayan kingdom of 1.2 million people will be able to grow less food, the government expects them to be able to grow more – and to export increasing amounts of high quality niche foods to neighboring India, China and other countries.
In a world looking for new ideas, Bhutan is already called the poster child of sustainable development. More than 95% of the population has clean water and electricity, 80% of the country is forested and, to the envy of many countries, it is carbon neutral and food secure. Read the Guardian article here.
Let's pray that Monsanto and friends don't plan a coupe in or invasion of Bhutan!!!

Get Over It! We Are Not All Created Equal
U.S. Marine Corps Captain Katie Petronio served with distinction as a combat engineer in both Iraq and Afghanistan. An outstanding college athlete, she joined the Marines some five years ago and graduated from Officer Candidates School ranked 4th in a class of 52! Today, she suffers several health challenges brought on directly by her combat deployments. As she points out in this excellent Marine Corps Gazette article, "we haven’t even begun to analyze and comprehend the gender-specific
medical issues and overall physical toll continuous combat operations
will have on females...I am confident that should the Marine Corps attempt to fully integrate
women into the infantry, we as an institution are going to experience a
colossal increase in crippling and career-ending medical conditions for
females."
Capt. Petronio clearly demonstrates that a woman's courage and commitment are not the issue. Women and men are not physically interchangeable and no amount of social engineering in Washington, D.C. will change that reality. Please read this excellent article for yourself.

Drone Strikes on Americans Declared Legal
In fact, according to President Obama's spokesman Jay Carney, they are also "ethical and wise." An internal Justice Department memo says it is legal for the government to kill U.S. citizens abroad if it believes they are senior al-Qaida leaders or in “an associated force” -- even if there is no intelligence indicating they are engaged in an active plot to attack the U.S.!
Furthermore: “The condition that an operational leader present an ‘imminent’ threat of violent attack against the United States does not require the United States to have clear evidence that a specific attack on U.S. persons and interests will take place in the immediate future,” the memo states.

The document said the courts have no role to play in the matter:
"Under the circumstances
described in this paper, there exists no appropriate judicial forum to
evaluate these constitutional considerations."

Putin's Adoption Ban and the Soviet Legacy
A recent National Catholic Register article places a large part of responsibility for the Russian ban on adoptions to Americans beyond political tensions with Vladimir Putin, and incriminates the Soviet history of "unconditional annulment of all laws against abortion." The Communists felt these laws necessary to achieve their ideal of equality of the sexes, disregarding the possibility that the concept of equality could encompass differences and complementarity. Therefore, by 1934, Moscow women were having three abortions for every live birth.
The toll was so staggering that an appalled Joseph Stalin, the legendary
mass murderer, actually banned abortion in 1936, fearing a vanishing
populace. Nikita Khrushchev reinstituted legalized abortions in 1955.
The fact is that Russia's population is plummeting, and both Putin and the Russian Duma foresee problems. When Communism ended in the 1990s, runaway abortion didn't. Among other problems, Russia faces a fertility crisis--13% of the population and rising have infertility issues. "In nearly three out of four cases," said the article, citing Russian health experts, "infertility is attributed to the woman, typically because of complications from one or more abortions."
How tragically ironic that here in contemporary America, we have embraced the Communists' false premise that women need unfettered access to contraception and abortion in order to be equal to men. We may have won the Cold War only to lose the peace. Blessed Mary, Ever Virgin, and all holy Saints and Angels, please pray for us!

Kids' Brains "Branded" with Fast Food Logos
According to a study from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the
University of Kansas Medical Center, children’s brains are branded by corporations early on in life—even before they know how to read. Using MRI technology, the researchers found, for instance, that the areas of the brain controlling both rewards and appetite control “lit up”
when a child was shown fast food logos, similarly to how they would if they were
shown actual food. These results include children young enough that the areas of the brain governing self-control are not yet formed:
“Some research finds that children identify the golden arches for McDonald’s before they know the letter M,” said Dr. Amanda Bruce. Click here to read the article and sources.

Population Control Propagandist: "We Get Very Little Opposition"
The Population Media Center receives funding
from literally all the major foundations including the Academy of
Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, Bank of America Charitable
Gift Fund, The David Rockefeller Fund, Ford Foundation, and the IMF
Employees’ Fund.
When we take a look at the Center’s program advisory board we encounter some familiar names, including Paul and Anne Ehrlich, as well as World Bank luminary Herman Daly (who recently called for smaller, less “resource-intensive” people to be bred into existence). Interestingly, some names from Hollywood pop up, advising the population center on how to best convince audiences worldwide to cull themselves. Among the names mentioned we find director Jeremy Kagan, renowned because of his many film and television projects.
“One of the things that we do – and that is the primary thing we do – is to use a strategy of communications that has turned out, from everything we have been able to measure, to be the most cost-effective strategy for changing behavior with regard to family size and contraceptive use on a per-behavior change basis of any strategy we have found on the planet.”
Incredibly, this amazingly effective weapon for culling the masses is soap operas! See the proof here.
